LADY Gaga just earned herself a spot in the wardrobe malfunction hall of shame.

And we’re not talking about her usual antics of wearing dresses made of meat, or being carried into an awards ceremony in a giant egg.

At first glance, you might even think the simple black t-shirt, skinny jeans and boots was an understated look for the star.

But look a little closer and you’ll see there’s an elephant in the room. Well, two of them, actually.

For whatever reason the Applause crooner had opted not to wear a bra and thanks to the flash of the cameras, we all knew it.

Walking out of a recording studio in New York City, the songstress had clearly intended to blend in with huge glasses and a black hat.

Suffice to say it wasn’t her questionable accessorising that ended up making an impact, but her illuminated chest.

Someone needs to invest in a pair of nipple pasties if you ask us…

The faux pas comes after Gaga broke off her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney last month.

After weeks of speculation, the blonde took to Instagram to set the record straight.

“Just like all couples we have ups and downs and we have been taking a break,” she told her 18 million followers.

“We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared,” she went on.

“Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”

Sounds like the door has been left open…
