Five Nights at Freddy’s is a horror movie that was first released in October 2023. It is based on a popular video game series of the same name, which premiered in 2014.

The film follows Mike, a man who is desperate for work in order to continue caring for his younger sister. However, when he begins working the night shift as a security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, he discovers something terrifying. First and foremost, it would not be a surprise to hear that Five Nights at Freddy’s is receiving a sequel.

There are nine main games in the series and even more spinoffs and mini games, which means there is plenty of content available for on-screen adaptation. Furthermore, Scott Cawthon, who wrote the screenplay for the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, indicated in 2018 that if the first film were to be successful, then he could see a sequel happening.

However, there is more recent news that is almost a guarantee that Five Nights at Freddy’s will get its sequel, and likely even more than that.
