Billie Eilish Claps Back at Trolls Criticizing Her Feminine Fashion Choices

Billie Eilish did not hold back as she addressed the online trolls criticising her style change in a fierce social media rant about femininity.

Billie Eilish has hit back at “women hating weirdos” who branded her a “sellout” over her style change over the years.

The Ocean Eyes singer, 21, has recently been embracing tighter fitting clothes and more “feminine” pieces after becoming known for her “boy ish” character.

She opened up about her experience as a teen star in an impassioned caption written over a close-up picture of her face, which was shared in view of her 109 million Instagram followers.

Eilish typed: “I spent the first 5 years of my career getting absolutely OBLITERATED by you fools for being boy ish and dressing how i did & constantly being told i’d be hotter if i acted like a woman.

“You guys are true idiots,” she added, branding her critics “bozos” who need to “let women rest.”

The Grammy Award winner continued in a follow-up Story: “FUN FACT! did you know that woman are multifaceted!!!!!???

“Shocking right?? believe it or not women could be interested in multiple things.”

Eilish went on: “Also that femininity does not equal weakness???!!!! omg?! insane right? who knew.

“And also totally unheard of and insane to want to express yourself differently at different times.”

Eilish posted a final Story to conclude her message with a striking statement.

The singer penned: “Suck my absolute c*ck and b*lls you women hating a*s weirdos.”

Eilish rose to prominence in 2015 with her debut single Ocean Eyes, written and produced by her brother Finneas O’Connell, with whom she regularly collaborates.

In 2017, she released her debut EP, entitled Don’t Smile at Me, which reached the top 15 of record charts in various countries, including the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
