With the latest chapter in the franchise teasing its future, director Michael Chaves offers an update on The Conjuring 4 after The Nun II’s post-credits scene. Chaves, who previously helmed the loosely connected The Curse of La Llorona and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, returns to the James Wan-produced franchise with the sequel to the 2018 hit spinoff.
The Nun II also sees the returns of Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene and Bonnie Aarons as the eponymous demon Valak, who embarks on a streak of murders of priests and nuns across Europe in search of a powerful artifact.
