They say jet lag can do funny things to one’s psyche.
And coupled with an egomaniac popstar, you double the chances of trouble.
Having been cocooned on an airplane for nearly 12 hours, Lady Gaga emerged from the long haul flight from Sydney and onto the concourse at LAX flipping the bird with both hands.
The Telephone singer stuck her two middle fingers into the air as she brazenly made her way through the congregation of fans and photographers at the Los Angeles airport.
Once in her car, she continued to court attention, but seemed in slightly better spirits as she gave the thumbs up and pretended to claw her hand into the shape of a car paw.
In keeping with the in-your-face theme, the 26-year-old also appeared to have changed from when she originally left Australian soil in a slick black leather basque dress with a flattering gold belt.
Instead, the Bad Romance star aimed to shock in sheer tights so that her knickers were visible, as well as conveniently forgetting to wear a top over her bra as she showed off her midriff.
At least she’s not hiding from her new sound, confessing at a Perth show this weekend that her next venture is distinctly less mature than the last.
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, told fans: ‘I feel that when I wrote Born This Way, I demonstrated a sense of maturity.’
She added: ‘And I feel that, on the next album, there’s a lack of maturity, it’s a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility.’
Yesterday, Gaga proudly tweeted: ‘After tonight’s show, I’ll have performed for 200,000 Australians in 1 month. #BornThisWayBall.’
The Brit-winner also gushed over her excitement for fellow chart-topper Gwen Stefani, saying: ‘Is anyone else freaking out about No Doubt putting out a new album. I can’t wait!’
